The Best of Westchester film club resumes for its thirteenth season this Fall, with six new critically-acclaimed films from around the world specially selected by club programmer David Schwartz, Chief Curator at the Museum of the Moving Image. Each session's picks span a wide range of genre and subject matter including foreign language and documentary film, like last season's A Man Called Ove (2017 Oscar Nominee for Best Foreign Film) and I Am Not Your Negro (2017 Oscar Nominee for Best Documentary Feature), as well as dramas, biopics, comedies and animated features. Members enjoy a Q&A after each film with Mr. Schwartz and special guest(s) along with other member-only perks. The intimate Emelin Theatre is equipped with a new, state-of-the-art digital projection and Surround Sound system, has easy access to parking, and offers snacks and beverages including beer and wine.
